Introducing… my babies…

20 Aug

I am just too proud… look at what is growing in my back yard

We’ve planted cauliflower, broccoli and beans…

And Squash and carrots and tomato (aren’t they cute!!)…

and even these, which when properly grown, will be (30’ish) beautiful, sky-blue cornflowers (I can’t wait)!!

Ready and waiting in the wings are: courgettes, pattipans, chillies, sweetcorn & spring onions… my veggie garden is being dug tomorrow!!!

(I’m like a child at christmas)

There is nothing quite like growing your own veggies! I love these photos and all your handwritten name-tags for each plant, all in a row. Gorgeous!

I am so jealous and wish that Jake & I were so organised in our new garden!! I miss our veggie patch! The patty pans and marrows grow so well, struggled with corn flowers for some reason though. Have fun and enjoy getting your hands dirty!! Sue X
